Position Details
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Scheduling Officer to join our team on a two-year fixed term basis, supporting our Building Assessments and Client Services teams.
The Scheduling Officer ensures that building assessments and conciliations are scheduled and managed in accordance with BPC's service standards as well as ensuring coordination with all relevant stakeholders in a timely and efficient way to ensure high quality service delivery.
What we are looking for
  • Experience in working with, or ability to quickly gain an understanding of, legislation and case management systems.
  • Experience in a high-volume operational role.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, exercise attention to detail with initiative and ability to identify routine process improvements

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
