A permanent full-time opportunity exists for an Extruder Operator based at CopRice Wangaratta. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and ancillary equipment of the Extrusion plant, ensuring production requirements are met on a daily basis.

Duties

  • Complete shift operating tasks safely
  • Following production plans and adjusting to meet changes in product demand and ingredient supply
  • Ensure plant and equipment is operated and maintained to standard
  • Ensure food safety compliance of ingredients and finished products
  • Operating Forklift

What You Will Need

  • Current Australian Driver’s License
  • Forklift licence essential, or you must be willing to obtain one
  • Mechanical Aptitude (will be assessed)

Required Competencies Include

  • Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending is required throughout the shift
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly and trouble shoot difficulties whilst maintaining quality standards
  • Competent computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal customers/team members

Hours

Rotating 2-week Schedule (Mon–Fri)

6am–2pm | 2pm–10pm
