About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team on a permanent part time basis, reporting to the Catering Manager.
In this role, you will play an important part in delivering quality meal services to our residents while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation, plating, and service to residents
- Prepare vegetables and support general food preparation tasks
- Pack and unpack food delivery boxes
- Ensure kitchen areas are tidy, safe, and compliant with hygiene standards
- Store and organise kitchen supplies as required
- Deliver food boxes across the site using a golf buggy
- Support the team with general kitchen duties as needed
About You
You are a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in supporting aged care residents.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Food Safety Handling Certificate
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling practices
- Previous experience in food preparation (aged care experience highly regarded)
- Understanding of kitchen processes, equipment, and standards
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Professional presentation and a willing, can-do attitude

Located in Menora - Home to 178 residents approximately 5km from Perth.
