About the Role

Join Origin’s TechHub team as a Desktop Support Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless technology experience for our people. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you’ll provide both onsite and remote Level 2 support across a broad range of technologies including desktops, Microsoft 365, Teams, AV and mobility solutions.This is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting users across metro and regional locations, focused on resolving issues quickly, improving service outcomes, and ensuring a positive end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 technical support across end user devices, systems and applications
  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAsRecord, track and update all cases through ServiceNow
  • Provide meeting room support with Teams meeting & POLY
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing timely updates and managing expectations
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams when requiredSupport device deployment, software installation and asset lifecycle management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, change activities and project support

About You

You’re a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and working closely with stakeholders. You bring a practical, hands-on approach and thrive in a fast-paced support environment.

  • Experience providing IT support in an enterprise environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (M365, Teams, Intune etc.)
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (M365, Teams, Intune, Azure, AVD etc.)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
