About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training Administrator to join our L&D Team. The Administration Assistant will undertake administrative tasks associated with the Learning & Development team, including booking and scheduling training courses, accounts, purchasing, employee/contractor management, and other administration tasks as directed by the management team.

This is a 12 months’ maternity leave cover position, based at our dedicated Learning Hub, just outside of Gunnedah town centre. This is a full-time role working from 7.30am-3.30pm to each weekday.

What You'll do

• Coordinate, schedule and manage all training activities, including booking internal and external courses.
• Liaise with key stakeholders including facilitators, vendors, site teams and participants to ensure training requirements are met.
• Manage course logistics end-to-end, including bookings, scheduling, communications, travel and catering arrangements.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, invoices and budget tracking for training-related activities.
• Order and maintain the Gunnedah Learning Hub supplies and resources.
• Maintain training facilities, including the learning hub, and it’s meeting rooms and equipment.
• Provide general administrative support to the Learning & Development team as required.

What You'll Bring

The successful applicant will possess:

• Competent Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
• Administration experience in customer service and or event management
• Ability to develop rapport and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Previous experience working in training highly desirable
• Comfortable to work autonomously in remote or site-based environments
