A great opportunity has arisen for a Structural/Civil Draftsperson to join our Structural/Civil Engineering team on a permanent full- time basis reporting to our Lead Designer.

We are seeking a skilled Structural/Civil Designer proficient and experienced in AutoCAD and Revit to transform complex engineering concept designs into precise digital models and 2D detailed documentation. This role would suit anyone looking to progress their career in an organisation that is at the heart of the Energy Transition.

We are located at our Haymarket office, Sydney, and offer a competitive salary package including 16.5% superannuation and a fortnightly rostered day off in support of work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in appropriate discipline (Pre-request)

Role overview

  • Proven experience in Structural drafting/Modelling or Civil design.
  • Strong experience using AutoCAD (non-negotiable – 8 years minimum experience).
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structures (non-negotiable – 8 years minimum experience).
  • Produce accurate models using Revit, generating 2D documentation for Structural and Civil projects.
  • Strong understanding of Civil/Structural detailed documentation.
  • Proven experience producing Structural and Civil plans, sections, and details.
  • Strong ability to interpret 2D drawings and visualise them in 3D, with a solid understanding of construction methodology.
  • Strong attention to detail and documenting to company/Australian standards.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Working closely with Engineers to translate design concepts into construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D beneficial.
