About This Role

Whitehaven Coal is seeking experienced OCE Supervisors to play a vital role in leading our Tarrawonga Mine Operations. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with outstanding communication skills who is ready to embrace the challenges and rewards that come with this dynamic role.

The successful incumbent will be offered a 7/7 arrangement and paid camp accommodation during their allocated roster period.

What You’ll Do

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mining and plant efficiency
• Oversee production targets and coal quality, and assist in production planning
• Perform statutory inspections for open-cut operations
• Supervise and guide mining crews, including delivering pre-shift briefings and managing shift plans
• Play a key role in fostering a positive and collaborative organisational culture

What You’ll Bring

The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of mining legislation, safety and environmental systems, along with expertise in open-cut mining techniques. Additional qualifications include:

• OCE Certificate (Essential)
• Proven experience as a supervisor and multi-skilled operator in the mining industry
• Strong dedication to safety and alignment with our "STRIVE" values
• Willingness to work an even time arrangement (7/7)
