The business provides takeaway and dine-in food services, offering a range of burgers, sides, beverages and related menu items to customers in retail locations. As part of our continued business growth, we have recently opened a new store in Deception Bay, Queensland. We are seeking an experienced full-time Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of this store, supervise staff, and ensure the delivery of consistent customer service and operational standards. Job Title Retail Manager Type of Employment Full-time Location 1 Mariner Boulevard, Deception Bay, QLD 4508 Key Responsibilities As Retail Manager, you will organise and control the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet, including: · Managing the daily operations of the store and ensuring efficient service delivery. · Determining product mix, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating purchasing and inventory management. · Implementing sales strategies, pricing policies and promotional activities to support business growth. · Promoting the store’s products and services and maintaining high standards of customer service. · Maintaining records of stock levels, sales performance and financial transactions. · Assisting with budgeting and monitoring store revenue and operating costs. · Recruiting, training, supervising and rostering staff members. · Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and operational procedures. · Maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards. Required Skills and Qualifications · Diploma or higher qualification in business, retail, or management · Minimum 3 years of relevant retail management experience (in food or hospitality) if no relevant formal qualifications · Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. · Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management, marketing, and sales strategies. · Understanding of WHS and regulatory compliance requirements. · Event coordination and logistics experience are advantageous.
