We are seeking a Senior Analyst to design and develop software applications that enable enterprise behaviours across customer, community, and employee interactions within CIO Business and Private Banking.

As Senior Analyst, you will be joining theCore Banking and Account Services Teamto drive excellence in NAB’s domestic account-to-account payment capability across the business.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Produce documentation, deploy changes, gather approvals, and define and maintain work items in systems such as Rally, Confluence, Sharepoint, CursorAI and/or others.

  • Perform deployments and incident fixes outside of business hours, including overnight and on weekends when required.

  • Create design/support/delivery documentation and provide advice regarding applications to enable support function to work pro-actively

  • Monitoring the health, configuration changes, code changes to functional enhancements (incl. product configuration), associated batch systems as required, system testing and SIT testing and other services.

  • Developing fixes / resolve production incidents

What you will bring:

  • Recent Mainframe experience working within Banking &/or Financial Services environment

  • Solid experience with mainframe programming for online subsystems and interfaces including but not limited to COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, MQ, VSAM

  • Card Payments transactions switch experience in mainframe or other platform environment using card payment standards

  • Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll need to be comfortable with agile and scrum methods.

  • Experience in payment acquiring, Connex, transaction switching, mainframes, ATMs, POS devices and Knowledge in FINSIM/Paysim Testing, SPLUNK, JIRA, Confluence and agile delivery techniques will be a big plus;
