Your next career opportunity:
In this role, you will assess research partners and collaborations to identify integrity, governance and security risks. You will help shape compliant, socially responsible research relationships that protect and enhance the University’s reputation.

What you will deliver:

  • Prepare clear, well-evidenced due diligence reports and briefings for executive decision-makers across the University.

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, translating requirements into practical guidance for research partnerships and activities.

  • Develop and maintain compliance and record-keeping processes, including those supporting the Foreign Arrangements Scheme obligations.

  • Support the Due Diligence Coordinator to design, implement and refine research due diligence and risk processes.

  • Contribute to staff training and continuous process improvement to enhance efficient, high-quality research due diligence services.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications or work experience in international relations, public policy, strategic communications or a closely related discipline.

  • Bring experience interpreting, applying and developing policies or procedures within large, complex organisations.

  • Demonstrate strong research skills, gathering and synthesising complex information into concise, accessible summaries and recommendations.

  • Assess information sources critically, explaining credibility and risk judgements clearly to varied audiences.

  • Manage competing priorities effectively, meeting agreed service timeframes while working independently and collaboratively within a small team.

  • Apply or develop understanding of risk management methodologies, ideally including AS/NZS 31000:2009, in practical contexts.
