Driver – ESS Defence

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team at Blamey Barracks. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role is responsible for transporting Defence personnel in line with operational requirements.

The Role

• Transport APS and ADF personnel to and from local Defence establishments on scheduled routes
• Provide interstate and local transport support for training activities
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Complete accurate records and documentation
• Operate autonomously while complying with all safety and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively within a team-based environment

What We’re Looking For

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
• Minimum Class C Driver Licence
• Working With Vulnerable People clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Reliable with good communication skills
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends when required
