About the role

Provide advanced clinical and professional leadership to a statewide alcohol and drug counselling service, supporting 24/7 telephone and online care. Drive clinical standards, support workforce capability, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve client outcomes.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide advanced clinical leadership, advice, and decision-making support to a large counselling workforce
  • Deliver and guide evidence-based alcohol and drug interventions across phone and online service models
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to support service development and client outcomes
  • Lead clinical supervision, training, and professional development to maintain high practice standards
  • Drive quality improvement, research, and evaluation activities to enhance service delivery
