Warehouse & Sales Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Sales Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level role offering a pathway into a long-term sales position for the right candidate.

This position combines warehouse operations with customer service and sales support. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient stock handling while also assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Occasional weekend work required during peak periods, sales events, and staff leave coverage

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Receive and unload deliveries, checking goods against invoices for accuracy
• Report any damaged or missing items
• Organise and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
• Perform regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch or collection

Sales & Customer Service

• Provide friendly and professional service to customers in-store and over the phone
• Assist with product enquiries and offer technical advice on tools and materials
• Process sales transactions, invoices, and payments using POS and inventory systems
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and add-ons

Skills & Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using warehouse systems, barcode scanners, and basic Microsoft Office programs
• Physically fit, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 30kg
