V/Line’s purpose is to connect Victorians through safe, reliable, and accessible transport. We believe in giving all Victorians opportunities through travel and transport – connecting them to jobs, education, family and friends, services, tourism and trade.

V/Line is experiencing significant growth and we’re delivering more services, more trains, cheaper fares, and huge projects. With more than 3700 weekly train and coach services, an expansive freight network and unprecedented rail investment, millions of Victorians depend on us to deliver. You could be one of our 2700 committed team members who are up to the challenge.

About the Role

As a Change Manager within the Enterprise Change team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering change across key business and technology initiatives. You will design, develop and implement end-to-end change strategies that support successful adoption and long-term benefits realisation across the organisation.

Working across a portfolio of initiatives, you’ll support projects that span customer-facing digital environments, including customer databases, websites and evolving customer interfaces. You’ll ensure impacted stakeholders are informed, prepared and supported through change by leading impact assessments, change planning, communication and training activities.

You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including technology teams, customer experience, communications, and external engagement functions. This role requires strong coordination across multiple workstreams, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience for end users while aligning with broader enterprise change priorities.

Operating in a fast-paced environment, you’ll manage multiple initiatives in parallel, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on delivery, stakeholder engagement and measurable outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced Change Manager with a strong track record delivering business and technology change, particularly across customer-facing digital initiatives such as websites, platforms and customer data environments. You bring a structured approach to change, with the ability to design and deliver practical, outcomes-focused strategies that drive adoption and improve user experience.

You’re a confident communicator and natural collaborator who can build strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group, from technical and IT teams through to customer experience, communications and external partners. Highly organised and adaptable, you thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a clear focus on delivery and outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering change across business and technology projects
  • Experience working on customer-facing digital initiatives (e.g. websites, customer databases, or CX platforms)
  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR or Agile
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and build trust with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience developing and delivering communication, training and stakeholder engagement plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for driving positive, sustainable change

If your skills or experience don’t exactly match our listed requirements, we still encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and believe in the potential for growth and development.
