About the role
As a new member of the Customer Training team, the Customer Operations Training Coordinator will play an instrumental part in the successful delivery of frontline training, including classroom training, regional training, project training, and other ad hoc training events.

The position involves close collaboration with the Customer Training team and stakeholders to address training needs across Victoria. Responsibilities include managing staff training, coordinating events, providing administrative support, and financial administration.

Key accountabilities include:
• Schedule and roster frontline Conductor and Station staff classroom and continuation
training
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure staff attendance
• Coordinate travel and accommodation for staff
• Complete invoicing and other financial administration
• Stock and stationary ordering
• Purchase order certation
• Document and courseware updates using approved templates
• Organise meetings, and maintain agendas and minutes
• Book and liaise with internal and external providers
• Coordinate events and activities
• Support Customer Training Officers
• Assist with uniform ordering

About you
As our Customer Training Coordinator, you will be a self-driven, detail focused team player. You will have strong time management skills and be proficient in using the Microsoft Suite to excel in supporting the Customer Training team. You will have strong communication as you liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and you believe in building strong team culture and inclusive work environment

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Experience in scheduling and admin work
• Experience liaising with external stakeholders
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of SharePoint
• Year 10 or equivalent
• Event coordination
• JDE or similar – desired but not essential
• Completion of Year 10 or equivalent
• Demonstrated alignment to V/Lines values

To be considered for this role, applicants must address the following key selection criteria within their application, as this forms part of our merit-based recruitment process:

• Familiarity with the Microsoft office suite
• Have a background in administration, reception, office coordinator or similar

This position will be paid in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administration Employees Agreement 2023. This role is a Clerk C3 and is paid $98,218 plus super.
