Experienced Chef required for THE DEN HOSPITALITY PTY. LTD T/as THE DEN CAFE AND BAR located 1009 Old Princes Hwy, Engadine NSW 2233 Australia. Your working hours will be Fulltime (38 hours) per week. A passion for cooking and respect for work ethics is essential to this fast-paced environment. Our Restaurant will bring affordable breakfast , lunch and dinner experience with italian dishes executed well. Our menu will consist of all made with traditional Italian recipes and will be greatly complemented with a great cocktail list and Italian varietal heavy cellar. We are looking for Chefs to join our team Duties and Responsibilities Preparing and cooking food as per restaurant menu Creating new dishes and planning menus Estimate food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies Cooking and serving food, while coordinating with other kitchen staff and wait staff Ensure quality and presentation of all foods Training and developing kitchen staff Hiring and training junior Chefs. Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment Discussing food preparation issues with senior management Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure workplace Select and train staff Freeze and preserve foods Qualifications and Experience Must have AQF Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and Diploma of Hospitality Management Must have experience worked as Chef for more than 1 years In return we offer a salary between $ 70,000 - $80 ,000 and a chance to work with a great team of people.
