Prompt Engineering 43 139 956 273 We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing engineering consultancy, supporting the delivery of residential projects across Western Australia. This role involves analysing structural systems, preparing engineering designs and documentation, and supporting the construction process to ensure compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyse the structural integrity and behaviour of residential structures under various loading conditions. Prepare structural designs, calculations, and detailed documentation in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. Produce and review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance. Design structural elements to ensure stability, durability, and safety (e.g. footings, slabs, framing systems, retaining structures) Interpret architectural drawings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct site inspections to assess structural conditions and verify construction compliance. Monitor design changes and assess impacts on performance and project outcomes. Apply engineering principles, codes, and standards to solve technical problems. Maintain accurate project records and documentation in line with company systems. Communicate effectively with clients, builders, and internal teams to support project delivery. Skills & Experience Essential: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering Demonstrated experience in structural design within a consulting environment Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering design principles Ability to analyse structural systems and prepare accurate engineering documentation Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines Desirable: Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in a similar role Experience in residential structural engineering Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role via the online application process.
