About The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Accountant – Group Reporting to play a key role in the management and preparation of the Group’s financial and statutory reporting. This position is ideal for a technically strong, detail-focused finance professional who enjoys working across complex reporting requirements, building strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to a high-performing finance team.

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely consolidated results, supporting ASX reporting obligations, partnering with internal stakeholders, and acting as a key contact for external auditors. The role is based in our Sydney CBD office and is for a 15-month contract.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and prepare the monthly consolidated results for the Group.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting, including cash flow, balance sheet, and working capital analysis.
  • Deliver all ASX reporting requirements, including half-year and full-year financial reports and quarterly reporting.
  • Prepare supporting information for half-year and year-end results.
  • Assist with the preparation of Audit Committee reports.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance to the business on accounting treatments, financial reporting matters, and the implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, coordinating queries and information requests.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across finance and broader business teams.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting across the Group.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
  • Support the coaching and development of other team members.

What You’ll Bring

  • CA / CPA qualification
  • Strong experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
  • Experience with ASX reporting and statutory reporting requirements
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in the use of Pulse software, Dayforce software and SAP (desirable)
