We’re looking for a performance and insights professional to join our Operations Excellence team - Power Generation & Projects.

This pivotal role will lead operations reporting across a fleet of power stations and new energy projects across VIC, NSW & SA, enabling our Operations & Projects business unit to achieve its strategic, financial, and operational objectives. This is a high-impact opportunity for a performance professional who thrives at the intersection of data, governance, and decision-making with senior leaders.

About the role

As the Operations Performance Lead, you will own and embed a robust performance management and governance framework across our Operations & Projects division.

More specifically, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the implementation of the Operations & Projects performance management framework, including a single‑source KPI reporting solution with clear definitions and performance insights

  • Developing and enhancing monthly and quarterly performance reports, leveraging existing enterprise reporting where possible

  • Design tools and processes that reduce manual effort and enable self‑service access to trusted performance information

  • Support leaders to identify performance challenges and provide performance‑based decision support, including trade‑off, risk, and impact assessments

  • Lead performance reporting and analysis for governing bodies, including Leadership Team and Board‑level forums.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, commercial management, performance, business analytics, governance, and/or operational excellence

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, engineering, or a related discipline

  • Experience in a complex organisation, ideally within a utilities or heavy industrial operations environment is preferred; not essential
