Administration Officer | Lifeline Crisis Support | Townsville

  • Employment Term: Permanent Part-Time (5 day fortnight)

  • Remuneration: $44.58 + Super + NFP salary packaging of up to $15,900 & $2,650 for meals & entertainment

Your part in our UnitingCare team

The Administration Officer contributes to the effective operation of the Lifeline Centre by delivering high-quality administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth delivery of crisis support services. This role supports the Service Leader and broader team across a wide range of business functions, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery.

Working within a dynamic environment, you will play a key role in maintaining effective systems, supporting training coordination and providing operational support to ensure the centre functions efficiently.

In addition, you will:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Lifeline Centre and Service Leader
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel and events
  • Support Crisis Support Worker training coordination
  • Manage records, databases and documentation systems
  • Undertake financial and HR administration tasks, including accounts payable and timekeeping systems
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and presentations using Microsoft Office
  • Liaise with external providers and internal stakeholders (IT, facilities, suppliers)
  • Support operational areas including HR, WHS, fleet and digital systems
  • Maintain effective administrative processes and a welcoming, professional environment

What makes a difference for us?

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (or similar) and/or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience working across multiple business systems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Positive Blue Card
  • Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
  • Previous experience in health, community services or not-for-profit sector (desirable)
