**Tell me more...**Thursday Island is in the Torres Strait off far‐north Queensland, offers a relaxed, close‐knit island lifestyle shaped by strong Indigenous culture and a warm tropical climate. Life moves at an unhurried pace with a healthy work–life balance, particularly in roles across health, education, government, and local services.

This role provides advanced coordination and clinical leadership within Child and Youth Mental Health Services, delivering high‐quality assessment, treatment, and case management in partnership with a multidisciplinary team across the remote Torres and Cape region. Working in a rural and remote healthcare environment, the position plays a key role in supporting diverse communities while ensuring best‐practice, culturally responsive care. It also provides senior clinical guidance, supervision, mentoring, and capacity building to less experienced staff, strengthening service delivery. The role spans the full age spectrum and integrates both mental health, alcohol and other drug services to provide holistic care.
