Diploma of Interpreting (Spoken Language)
This course provides you the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to effectively interpret in a range of settings. You will be able to concentrate on language-specific terminology with a tutor who is a certified and experienced interpreter in your language. Your classes will be in an online virtual classroom environment. This course is comprehensive, and it is the best way to improve your interpreting skills and language proficiency to reach the necessary level to become a Certified Provisional Interpreter and a confident practitioner. If you are already certified, you can use the Diploma of Interpreting as professional development and to improve your skills. This qualification is endorsed by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) and is the preferred and recommended pathway by NAATI to the Certified Provisional Interpreter test. Applicants are required to select one preference from the list below. This course is part of the Fee Free TAFE initiative. Fee Free places are limited and eligibility criteria applies. If all Fee Free TAFE places are filled, you may be offered a subsidised place instead.
