Certificate IV in Women's Advocacy (Leadership)
This course aims to develop women’s educational, vocational and leadership skills. Students will gain an understanding in gender analysis and develop skills for the application of advocacy and leadership at work and/or in the community. Units covering developing personal productivity, communicating effectively as a workplace leader and leading effective workplace relationships are also included in this course. Students will improve their skills in the areas of research, essay writing, presenting and advanced computing enabling them to take advantage of the pathways into higher education and training or to enhance employment or promotion opportunities. Entry Recommendations We recommend this course if you are interested in women's advocacy and leadership and the status of women. Previous completion of units in study practice, communication, IT and advocacy from the Certificate II in Vocational Preparation for Women and/or the Certificate III in Women's Advocacy or similar is recommended. Attendance Requirements (subject to change) This course is delivered as a blend of face-to-face learning in the classroom or in a virtual classroom (VC) with some units completed online.
