Certificate II Program in Pathways to Nursing
This pathway course is designed to help you build confidence and prepare for higher-level study in a supportive learning environment. It’s perfect for anyone aiming to complete the Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) but needs to strengthen foundational skills first. Over just 4 months, you’ll develop essential writing, literacy, and numeracy skills tailored to a nursing context—skills that are highly valued in the health industry. Upon completion, you may credit for 5 units towards the Diploma of Nursing, giving you a head start on your nursing career. Entry Recommendations You will need reasonable skills in reading, writing and numeracy in English and oral communication. Attendance Requirements (subject to change) Port Lincoln classes commence in Term 2 on 27th April 2026. Class times: 9:30am–12:30pm / 12:30pm–3:00pm
