Diploma of Library and Information Services
In this nationally recognised Diploma qualification, you will gain the knowledge and skills required to work in libraries. You will be able to take on a leadership role in leading your team, developing and promoting events and providing support to staff who manage collections. Graduates of this course will be able to apply to the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) for professional organization (Library Technician) membership. Your lecturers are library professionals with strong connections to South Australian libraries and remain up-to-date with industry best practice. This course is accredited by ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association). There is compulsory work placement of a minimum 70 must be undertaken as part of the course.
