Certificate IV in Library and Information Services
In this nationally recognised Certificate IV in Library and Information Services qualification, you will gain the knowledge and skills required to work in libraries and be familiar with the technologies and processes utilised within that industry. Through a mix of theory and practical coursework you will learn to search library databases, use cataloguing tools and develop the skills to interact with a wide range of library customers. Your studies could lead to employment in the public, university, special (law, health) or school library sectors ; or more broadly, into roles that support art galleries, museums and other information management areas. Your lecturers are library professionals with strong connections to South Australian libraries and remain up-to-date with industry best practice.
