Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set | SA campus-based learning

Our two-day blended delivery and practical simulation program is concise and supports you to learn about the anatomy and physiology of the human body to further support your learning about the recognition and promotion of ways to maintain healthy body functions. You will also learn about common medications and related potential side effects, how medications can be delivered e.g. orally or creams, and infection prevention strategies. State Legislation (Statutes) and medication guidelines are also included to support and expand your understanding of safe practice. Please refer to the FAQ's for Forms, Policies and Procedures. Our course is designed for people who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in an area that involves direct client care or support across a variety of healthcare settings. Applicants are required to successfully complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test which is included in the course fee.
